# Tujuvia place-matching accuracy and limitations

> Reviewed by the Tujuvia product team on 21 September 2026. Tested against the current Android workflow.

Tujuvia automates two tasks: identifying which places a post mentions and resolving those mentions to real venues. A result is a useful starting point, not a guarantee.

Matches can be wrong when several branches share a name, the source omits the city, a creator uses a nickname, a post is old, several places are presented ambiguously, or map providers have incomplete or outdated data.

Before travelling:

1. Compare the matched venue name with the original post.
2. Check the city, neighbourhood and branch against clues in the source.
3. Compare recent photos on a current map service.
4. Confirm opening hours, closures and booking requirements directly with the venue when they matter.
5. Correct the result or add the right address manually if necessary.

Trip plans also depend on coordinates and estimated driving times. Traffic, closures, parking, walking, queues and time spent at each stop can change the real schedule. Tujuvia is a personal planning tool, not a booking or safety-verification service.
