# How Tujuvia turns a travel post into a place on your map

Tujuvia turns places mentioned in public social posts and web pages into a private, usable travel map.

1. **Share or paste the source.** On Android, choose Tujuvia from the Share menu in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another app, or paste a link directly. Manual place entry is also available.
2. **Read the public post.** Depending on the source, Tujuvia may use the caption, on-screen text, cover image, slideshow images, public poster handle and an available transcript.
3. **Identify place mentions.** The app analyses the available text and images for venue names and geographic clues. One post can contain several possible places.
4. **Match mentions to venues.** Tujuvia searches for real places using the apparent venue name and area. Google Places is the main resolution service and OpenStreetMap Nominatim is a fallback.
5. **Save the results.** Matched and manually added places appear on the user's private map, grouped by city.
6. **Build a trip.** Users select saved places, and Tujuvia orders the stops, estimates driving times and hands the route to Google Maps.

Automated results are not guarantees. A match can select the wrong branch, and venue details or route estimates can be outdated. Verify important details before travelling.
