How accurate is Tujuvia’s place matching?
Tujuvia automates two difficult tasks: understanding which places a post mentions and resolving each mention to a real venue. It is designed to reduce the work of turning travel inspiration into a map, but an automated result can be wrong. Treat the match as a useful starting point that should be checked before you travel.
Always verify: the venue name, branch, address, current opening hours and any booking requirements with the venue or another current source.
What Tujuvia uses to make a match
The app looks for venue names and geographic clues in the available caption, on-screen text, images, slides and transcript. It then searches for a real place using the apparent name and area. A match can include an address, coordinates, category, hours and photo.
Common reasons a match is wrong
- Several branches share a name. A chain or local business may have branches close to one another.
- The post omits the city or neighbourhood. A venue name alone may exist in several regions.
- The creator uses a nickname. The name in the video may differ from the registered map listing.
- The post is old. A business may have moved, closed or changed its hours.
- The source is ambiguous. A roundup may show multiple places without clearly connecting each name to an image.
- Map data differs between providers. Addresses, pins and opening hours can be incomplete or outdated.
How to check a result
- Compare the matched venue name with the spelling shown in the original post.
- Check the city, neighbourhood and branch against clues in the caption or video.
- Open the venue in Google Maps and compare recent photos.
- Confirm current hours, closures and booking requirements directly with the venue when the trip depends on them.
- Correct the place in Tujuvia or add the right address manually if the match is wrong.
Trip-plan limitations
A route is built from place coordinates and estimated driving times. Real travel can differ because of traffic, road closures, parking, walking time, queues and how long you stay. “Open when you arrive” depends on available opening-hours data and the estimated schedule; it is not a guarantee.
Tujuvia is a personal planning tool, not a booking service. It does not verify that a place is safe, open or as described by the creator.
What to do with an incorrect match
Check the post for a fuller address or branch name, search the venue manually, and replace or correct the result before building a route. If the same source repeatedly fails, send the link and the result shown by the app to support. Do not include passwords or payment details.
