Which links and posts work with Tujuvia?

Updated 21 September 2026 · Android

Tujuvia works with public TikTok, Instagram and YouTube links, other public web pages, and places you type in yourself. What it can extract depends on what the source exposes when the link is processed.

SourceWhat Tujuvia may read
TikTokCaption, public handle, cover image, on-screen text, slideshow images and a transcript where one is available.
InstagramPublic post or Reel information available from the shared link, including text and imagery the source makes accessible.
YouTubePublic video information and a transcript where one is available.
Other web linksPublic page content that provides enough text or context to identify a place.
Manual entryA place name or address that you enter directly, without a social post.

Slideshows and posts with several places

Tujuvia reads every available slide in a TikTok slideshow rather than relying only on its caption. It can also identify several place mentions in one post. Each mention is matched separately, so one “three cafes in Ipoh” post can become several places on the map.

Why a public-looking link might still fail

Tujuvia depends on third-party platforms that can change without notice, so support for a source can temporarily break even when it worked before.

What makes a link easier to match?

Posts that name the venue and city are easier to resolve than posts that say only “this hidden cafe” or show an unlabelled storefront. An address, neighbourhood, landmark, branch name or map screenshot provides additional clues. Tujuvia can still attempt a match with sparse information, but ambiguity increases the chance of a wrong branch.

What counts as a save?

A save is counted when a shared link is processed, whether or not a place is ultimately found. This is why it is worth checking that a link is public and points to the intended post before sharing it. Current plan allowances are listed on the pricing section.

If a link cannot be processed, search for the venue by name or paste its address manually. It will appear on the same private map as places found from posts.
